Kevin McFarland left PhD work at Stanford University, driven from academia by the unmistakable tug of God on his heart and the pleas of a dedicated group of churches to help them care for their neighbors in the war-torn mountains of El Salvador.

What followed was an amazing, four decade journey of more than 5 million air miles into the world's most desperate famines, wars, genocides and grinding centers of poverty. Kevin has been an international non-profit founder and CEO directing humanitarian emergency, economic development and poverty reduction programs in the U.S. and more than 40 countries around the world.

 

He has been a Senior Minister and a consultant to billion dollar organizations and institutions, but is most passionate about inspiring every believer to recognize and live out the sacred daily call to be a walking, talking miracle of God's grace and compassion--to simply be the ground on which heaven comes to earth every day.
